I was on a ship's excursion with very little time for lunch. The waitress- and I'm so sorry I can't remember her name! - really helped me out and got me going in time to meet my group.Since this was my first time in Canada, I really wanted to try the poutine. What User doesn't like about The Fickle Frog:
This is a very busy, loud, on the street restaurant. The glass walls open up to the street so you can enjoy the street life passing by. The food is very average bar food and the music is very loud. If you want to talk to your dinner companion this is not the place. View all feedback.
Love the feel of this placeIt's long and narrow giving it a cozy ambience.

I would absolutely recommend, but only hope that you have more time than I did!
Reasonably priced beers and spirits, as well as red and white wines. I had some awesome fish and chips for a reasonable price (under $20 USD). Friendly staff
Burger week - had the burger that was suggested for six dollars. It came with guacamole, tomato, jalapeño peppers, lettuce, the burger, and bun for six dollars. The burger was a real homemade burger. The waiter was very attentive and accommodated our different add up Tatian's adaptations to the burger. It is definitely a pub style restaurant. Centrally located on Spring garden Road on the north side of the street. We have also eaten breakfast here and enjoyed it. Food is always good
One of the best spots to drink in Halifax. its not particularly fancy but the Beers cheap, service is good and great daily specials.
