Sushi Jet - Halifax
Sushi Jet
Description
Sushi Jet offers acceptable sushi with some highlights like the spicy salmon rolls. However, reports of food poisoning cast a shadow on the dining experience. Fuji Happy Sushi seems to have declined in quality with poor service and language barriers. On the other hand, Fuji Sushi To Go impressed with delicious rolls, fresh ingredients, and efficient takeout service despite a snowstorm. Overall, Sushi Jet and Fuji Happy Sushi have mixed reviews, while Fuji Sushi To Go stands out for its addictively delicious rolls and efficient service, making it a solid choice for sushi lovers.

As soon as you enter into this establishment, you are greeted with the warmth and hospitality of visiting an old friend in their kitchen. I'm not sure what this building was originally, but it's beautiful inside, high ceilings and an art deco feel, and the service is friendly and inviting. We get a booth by the window and decide to have the all you can eat sushi, but as people begin to come in, it is the regular menu that they opt for and not the all u can eat...so, this might be telling us something. We had a few dumplings, tempura shrimp, battered chicken and small beef on the bone- all very good, except of course the sushi- which is the main reason we were there for. Unfortunately, it was either bland, too warm, or had odd tasting combinations. It was the first time that I actually didn't want to finish a plate of sushi. But, on the upside, we did get a small bowl of yummy mint chocolate ice-cream that seemed to add at nice end to the meal. At $23/each it hardly seemed worth it, but wouldn't mind coming back sometime to try their regular menu.
Years).__The sushi is fresh and the presentation is beautiful.__But unfortunately, the service is very slow.__The staff seems unorganized and not attentive to customers.__They forget our orders and it takes forever to get our food.__I appreciate the delicious sushi, but the poor service really ruined the dining experience for me.__I will not be returning.__Would not recommend.
Was here today for a busincess lunch with a colleague. All you can eat Sushi, gave us some stuff that we ordered, rest missed few items, servers are terribly slow, we waited in between orders for long. Not worth $20 for a sushi lunch. For 50% less you can get much better sushi at Ko-Doraku.
