Pacifico - Halifax
Pacifico
Description
Nestled in the heart of downtown Halifax, this historic bar shines with vibrant atmosphere and top-notch live music. Guests rave about the friendly, efficient service and unique cocktails, although some recommend sticking to beer. The stunning architecture enhances the experience, making it a delightful spot for gatherings and celebrations. Visitors appreciate reasonable pricing for drinks and food, especially the acclaimed Wagyu beef burger. While the exterior may exude a classy charm akin to the roaring 20s, occasional reports of unwelcoming bouncers hint at room for improvement. Overall, it remains a must-visit destination for locals and travelers alike.

Bouncers tried to assault me because their egos were hurt. Accepted my cash for guestlist entry then changed their mind. When I confronted them calmly, they tried to bully me onto the ground. Couldn’t even do it was pretty pathetic. Power tripping losers, classic Price per person: $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The mellotones were amazing and beautiful heritage building! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The live music made for a lively atmosphere. Beautiful old bank building which has been converted into a bar. It had the look of a higher end cocktail bar but don't be fooled. We had ordered an old fashioned, a dark and stormy, a whisky sour and a rum and coke. All of which were awful. Too sweet, too watery, and flat. Stick with beer and you will be okay. Fantastic live music! The performance by the G Street Band makes visiting Pacifico an unforgettable experience.
