Overall, a charming café in the heart of downtown Halifax popular with locals and students.

I have never dined in this restaurant, but I have tried their coffee to go and it was really good.
The carrot cake was extremely dry, as if it had been sitting in the display case for a few days. The icing was overly sweet.
This charming café is located in the heart of downtown. It's a perfect spot for students to study, as the prices are reasonable and you get a decent portion of food.
I don't know how anyone can call this anything above awful.The coffee was ok. EVERTHIING else is awful. The food looks (and tastes) like dog treats. They have the worse hours for any coffee shop, anywhere. The staff have no interest in working!! It looked like a hurricane passed thru it with mess and disorganization. I do not know how this place is open. TIBS or any downtown restaurant is better. I will go out on a positive. There was parking. Maybe I was there on two off days but OMG do yourself a favour, go anywhere but here.
