I wanted to purchase a bowl and a salad the cashier who was also the server advised me to take two SMALL salads that comes with the meal for a certain price, which I thought was a deal. When the server started choosing just a few pieces of fruit and was ready to add a potion of the macaroni salad that I asked for I was taken back. I then asked I thought you said a small salad, that doesn’t look like a small, there were just a few pieces of fruit being added to the bowl, she said to me this is a small salad mama, all friendliness gone now, I then said that does not look like a small, shouldn’t it be in one bowl by itself, when I saw that she was going to add the macaroni salad to it, she said no mama again, I didn’t understand how she’s measuring, or picking and choosing the fruit to put in the bowl, then to top it off adding the macaroni salad with the fruit, I don’t think that was going to sit right, now by that time I felt like I was in a debate team, people was waiting in line, I didn’t want to make a scene, so I said ok I have no other choice, but I will be giving a review, she continued with the macaroni salad, I was not happy at all, heart now racing, at the end I ate the macaroni salad, first because I was trying for the fruit not to get soggy, but couldn’t finish the fruit because it was not only soggy with mayonnaise it’s tasted yak. This shouldn’t be happening. The first time I went there to order, this was another occasion, my daughter usually orders for us, I had to stand there until the woman came off the phone, which looked personal to me, no hello, no sorry, very unprofessional, it was not an inviting atmosphere, I brushed it off thinking or she’s having a bad day, until when I saw a young man went up to the counter and he was served with the biggest smile ever. Funny but serious thing being a triple bypass survivor it’s the best food in the food court for eating healthy so I have to go there and the food is so good, to bad the potions for the salad not so good and the customer service sucks. I was very disappointed I paid almost 25$ and I had to throw away my fruit, I was outdoors and couldn’t wash the remaining fruit, some were too soggy to salvage. Moving forward I hope cultures make some changes to their salad serving and potions. Food would get five stars for taste. Customer service 0. I like fairness. This has been happening around the city too many times. Next time give me the same huge potion that you give the guy before me, his plate was overflowing, wished I took a picture of it. I was all excited until my turn. Even the guy who was working looked at that plate, shame on your server. What started as a good day for me, turned into a terrible experience and day. We as customers need better service and potions if we are spending our hard earned money at these establishments. Thank you! What a fantastic experience! The team and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. I really enjoyed my meal - everything was fresh and healthy. I can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu! I highly recommend the California bowl and the Mango Tango smoothie, both were absolutely amazing.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I decided to try their "very berry" smoothie. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The dominant flavor was almond milk, and I couldn't taste any of the berries that were supposed to be in the smoothie. It lacked flavor and I even started to feel my throat getting itchy. Despite that, the service was good.
