Three Crowns
Description
Welcome to The Three Crowns, your favourite pub in Stoke Newington with a rich history dating back to the 1600s. Located at the corner of Church Street and Stoke Newington High Street, this large public house was originally known as the Cock and Harp before being renamed to honour James I, symbolised by the three crowns representing England, Scotland, and Ireland. Now beautifully restored and reopened, The Three Crowns offers award-winning food and drinks that cater to both kings and humble peasants alike. Our modern British menu focuses on locally-sourced, seasonal produce, featuring signature award-winning pies and expertly crafted dishes by our head chef Ousmane Gaye and his dedicated team. Complement your meal with our selection of cocktails, natural and organic wines, and a wide array of craft beers. Our kitchen is open until 10pm daily. Downstairs, discover The Waiting Room, our intimate live music venue and exclusive gig space, where we showcase some of London's best grassroots artists and transform the space into a club featuring leftfield electronic music on Friday and Saturday nights. The main bar buzzes with vibrant energy hosting DJs spinning disco, funk, soul, and global grooves until 2:30am every weekend. On Saturdays, enjoy seasoned jazz musicians during our weekly jazz lunch from 2 to 4pm. For special events or group bookings of ten or more, we offer sharing menus and personalised options—just get in touch via [email protected]. We’re committed to accessibility, welcoming guide dogs and providing wheelchair-friendly entrances and accessible facilities. Free parking for blue badge holders is available nearby, and the pub is easily reached by bus and Overground. Open daily with extended hours on weekends, The Three Crowns is your destination for great food, music, and atmosphere in Stoke Newington. Book your table below and experience a true local gem.

Thank you Miguel, our brilliant server who found us a table AND got our order in, even after last orders. What a legend! He was so attentive and welcoming, with a very friendly persona and lovely attitude to work even though he was tired! Thank you Miguel! And totally delicious burgers from Krapow!
