The menu is not extensive but the staff was so friendly that I am giving them a full four stars for that! Plus my husband enjoyed his flat white and the banana cake when heated up is lovely: moist and bursting with flavour.

Excellent bread, selection of cakes and pastries and good coffee. Quiche was lovely. Small seating area. Loved it.

This cafe has always provided the perfect cup of coffee, and I've tested all the cafes in Stoke Newington! Their freshly baked cakes and bread for their delicious sandwiches are always superb. The atmosphere is lovely, great music, friendly staff and always beautiful fresh flowers on the tables. The sister café to the Kauri Tree is at Ribbons and Taylor across the road which serves the same great coffee and snacks. I can't recommend this cafe enough.

Bread and cakes made on the premises. Very friendly and helpful staff. They are also dog friendly which is a plus for when I'm back from walkies on Clissold park. Sandwiches made to order and very nice coffee.
