They served us a tasty meal of traditional beef and ale pie, mash, and cabbage, even though the kitchen had just closed for the night. They chatted with us and made us feel welcome. I booked for a work social and the team were very accommodating, happy to take a large group, the food was really delicious and came out in good time. The staff are lovely, so helpful, and the quiz was so good!! The whole team came away very happy! The prices were also really good for the set menu Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service was lacking however.... read more We ate here based on the Google reviews and the recommendation of a colleague. The atmosphere and the food were, overall, good. The service was lacking however. (Our waiter apologized for letting our nachos sit for so long the cheese on them was cold and solid. And he completely forgot our drink order I had to show him the order on my phone so that he would bring them and he still forgot one. We visited several other pubs while visiting London, all of which we enjoyed more. Maybe they just had an off night...
