Was Anonym at Long White Cloud a mag?
Kiwi Spirit is located in London's East End. During my visit to my daughter in London, I was not willing to pay a high price for a subpar hotel breakfast. So we decided to search for a typical East End café while out exploring. What we stumbled upon was a delightful surprise - the spirit of New Zealand in the "Land of the Long White Cloud". What Anonym dislikes about Long White Cloud:
Situated on the famous Hackney Road (where all the cool people live now) the Long White Cloud is one of East London’s regular haunts for locals in the area. The staff and owners here are incredibly friendly, welcoming and laid back – nothing would be too much trouble for these guys. The one thing i do love about the Long White Cloud is that it plays host to its very own gallery. With white blank canvas walls they exh... View all feedback.

I recently found this gem just a few months ago because it's conveniently located near my workplace. The exterior may not be anything special, but let me tell you, this guy makes the most delicious cappuccino! Additionally, he offers incredible mango and pistachio protein bites. The owner is super friendly and provides excellent customer service. This spot on Hackney Road is hands down the best place to grab a coffee, served with a smile.

One of the best banana breads I've had in a long time, paired with a very nice latte (well rounded flavour). It's a nice relaxing cafe and surely worth a visit compared to the chain high street coffee shops! Will surely visit again

Absolutely delicious food, probably the best scrambled eggs on toast I’ve ever had. I had to come back the second day, that was how freaking good it was. Owner is cheerful and charming. Coffee was not the best, but everything else makes up for that. I highly recommend this place.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly. The Turkish lady behind the counter gave a warm and welcoming feeling. It was a great experience, as friendliness and kindness like hers is not something I am used to in London.

This restaurant saved my morning and is the best breakfast spot in the area. By the way, their banana bread is a must-try!

Nestled on Hackney Road, Long White Cloud emerges as a charming café blending creativity with excellent cuisine. Enveloped by an art gallery atmosphere, this spot is perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch experience. The friendly New Zealand proprietors serve up delicious homemade treats, like moist apple cake and perfectly grilled eggs on whole grain bread, alongside well-crafted coffee. With a welcoming ambiance, reasonable prices, and a commitment to quality, this café stands out as a local favorite. Whether you're savoring a banana bread or a comforting French toast, it's a delightful retreat from the bustling city.

Expat Kiwis and visitors to New Zealand will recognize that the name is the English translation of the Maori word for their homeland. I tried a Maori Festival (hangi) dish, which was not only delicious but also a traditional art form. We opted for the "Full English Breakfast" for £8, which came with large cups of tea and a touch of Kiwi finesse. This café is a true hidden gem.

Long White Cloud is a small and sometimes hard to find restaurant located in the lively mix of charm and grit in the inner city. It's a hidden gem on Hackney Road that manages to impress with its unique offerings.

This is a great cafe for breakfast. It's a unique and creative place where they display art like pieces in a gallery. The restaurant was fairly crowded but I was able to find a table after a short wait. I got the apple cake and coffee, both of which were delicious. The coffee was decent and not too milky. The cake was sweet and moist, most likely homemade. I recommend coming here for a casual and satisfying breakfast. The prices are reasonable, around $10 should cover it.

Large small cafe, friendly staff, good eating and led by new sea landers! long white cloud is a small cafe on the hackney road, about 5-10 minutes walk from the columbia road flower markets and perfect if they want a few brunch away from the hectic and busy post flower shopping. it belongs to new-sea landers so it must be good. the caffe is beautiful and fresh with white walls and wooden and chairs. the two small tables from the front are perfect to make most of the last sunny days and also for people. we ordered the breakfast from the special table: eggs, salmon and avocado, which was delicious and came on perfectly grilled full grain bread. at 8...more

Just recently moved to the area and after walking past a few times I decided it was time to actually try it out and stop peering in! Went on a Sunday afternoon around 12 and it was quite busy but no queue. Even though there were lots of people and waitresses milling around it did't feel too cramped or stressful. I had the veggie breakfast which was very nice although I wasn't entirely full afterwards. Hot chocolate is very good, not too chocolatey so it feels slightly healthier! The person I was with had a peanut butter smoothie and absolutely loved it. Very nice atmosphere, good food and they even offer a range of gluten free cakes/pastries.

A few weeks ago, I promised the owner of this restaurant that I would write a review because his sandwich was truly amazing. It was toasted with cheese and tomato, but not just any ordinary cheese and tomato.

I have been a resident in the area for over three years, and this restaurant has been our top choice for breakfast. The brunch offered here is truly outstanding with a perfect 10/10 rating for taste, service, and atmosphere. The baked beans on toast is exceptionally delicious and I often find myself craving their breakfast. The presentation of the dishes is also beautiful. If you are thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it! Thank you to the staff for their fantastic service, I can't wait to come back many more times.

I was the on Saturday and asked for an americano, coffee extraction was only 11 seconds when complained about the coffee a member of staff (not barista) roll her eyes and reply with rude manners. All i can say is either get a coffee course or quit the job if you hate it that much but dont roll your eyes to customers mate. Service: Takeaway
