Fox Reformed - Hackney

They make great steak chips. but apart from that, the rest of the menu is very hit and miss (and above all miss). Okay, weeping list. also desperate in need if a make-over and a training for a griny servier staff.

This is a great resturant/bar. they're making a great steak, plus specials on the board. on the front you can play chess or backgammon, while a drink there is a beer garden at the very rear. the art is also on the display that is for sale. a transparent experience as a whole.

Warm rolling with a hauch of aniseed (so french), offer the accompaniment to some of the best meal I have eaten in stoke newington and actually, I have eaten most of these best meal times in the foxed reformed.

My favourite spot on Church Street. The Garden is a lovely little oasis and the steaks are perfect. They have a great wine list too

I recently visited The Fox after many years and had a wonderful experience. My companion and I both enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks with salad and chips. The Shiraz wine we had was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The young, courteous staff were attentive and had an old-school approach, which was refreshing to see. The decor hasn't changed much in the past 20 years, but it is still pleasant and cozy, giving off a retro 80's bistro vibe. We look forward to making The Fox a regular dining spot, especially since we live nearby.
