Reviews - Esters
Reviews summary
Esters in Stoke Newington offers a unique and creatively composed brunch menu. The cafe is known for its excellent coffee, delicious pastries, and friendly staff. While some customers have reported feeling unwelcome due to various incidents, others have praised the food and atmosphere. The olive oil cakes and rhubarb French toast are highly recommended. The menu is unconventional and trendy, appealing to those looking for something different. Esters may be on the pricier side and occasionally have a queue, but overall, it's a popular choice for a cozy and delicious brunch experience.

Cute cafe in London, serving one of the best cookies in the city! I came here for one thing only: to try their miso white chocolate cookie. It was absolutely delicious. The cookie was crispy on the outside and very buttery on the inside, with flakes of sea salt sprinkled on top. The thick gooey chips of white chocolate were slightly melted inside and went beautiful with the miso flavour in the background. For less than 3 pounds too, incredible value. If you’re looking for the best cookie in London, you’ve got to come: this might be it!
Always enjoy having a coffee and some food the taste is never disappointing. It gets very busy so either go there early or expect to queue!
Outstanding originality in the menu items. French toast was to die for and certainly not your average French Toast! We will definitely make a stop next time we visit our daughter!
Amazing place, one of my fav brunch places. Both breakfast and lunch is always so good. Kind service. Highly recommend.

Coffee is great however breakfast food options are truly limited, I was surprised to see iceberg salad inside my sandwich with hot stuff on top you can imagine what happened with the salad Friendly stuff they picked up a conversation, polite, mostly with a smile :p They have: “Laptop considerately” policy: no laptop on Saturdays, no zoom calls (I guess Teams is okay , so you can use your laptop however there are no sockets! So if your laptop runs short on battery that’s not a place for you! Quite nice vibe so I’d say come for a coffee with a friend but if you look for a place to work it’s not the best choice! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Classic coffee science cafe with fancy eggs. big beards and expensive pastries but no complaints sometimes you have to treat yourself! I had the one that goes through a piece of paper, tasted like raisins from my childhood. We also had a green cold one with some exotic ingredients. This one I didn’t like, very soil taste like old bread but it was nice to try a new drink. Thanks for the memories!
