We ordered three Thanksgiving dinners — one turkey and two hams — to pick up between 5 and 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, they forgot to include all three rolls, one cranberry sauce, and two apple crisps. We visited Shari's Cafe and Pies for our friend’s birthday, and the server generously paid for her shake! Such a sweet gesture from some really kind staff, and the shake was absolutely delicious!
Took 20 mins to even get drinks. Then had to wait another 10-15 mins to order food. Then took at least half an hour to get food. Didn't have the stuff to make my order, had to change it and then they still made me pay for it. Gave us one big bill instead ofasking us if we wanted to split it up. Waiter was also very unsanitary.
We hadn’t been to a Shari’s in several years. At this location, the customer service was friendly and efficient. One of the best things about Shari’s is that no matter which restaurant you go to, the food always tastes consistent, as if prepared by the same chefs. My only downside is that this place lacks the signature double door entrance, which made the tables near the entrance quite cold. With the freezing weather outside, it was even more noticeable.
I visited Shari's Cafe And Pies at 1 AM on 8/23/2022. The hostess was very friendly. However, the silverware had dried brown stains on it. I personally saw the cook stirring a pot, taking a large bite from the spoon, and then continuing to stir. While I understand the challenges of working in food service and limited time to eat, the cook should have used their own plate instead. We couldn’t even eat the food served to us because we were unsure if it had been contaminated. It was completely unacceptable.
I was in Sharis on Burnside/Gresham tonight. Julie is an excellent waitress always!! She is our server most times we go there. Tonight it was so hot in there, no ac and very short staffed!! She is always so happy and attentive, definitely a favorite ofours!! This lady deserves a raise and some help! A paid vacation somewhere fun would make her year I bet! You have a greatserver!! Please get help out there! Thank you Julie for your 5 star service with a smile ??????

Didn't receive 1/3 of order that waitress and manager claim they both verified accuracy. Bag was still stapled. Odd that someone would take gravy out of all the condiments. No bacon or french toast. Second experience with manager that is not customer oriented. We will order from Highland Shari's in the future
I've always liked Shari's their food is good, but I must say they have gone down hill in the last 10 years....their pies used to be fresh, now there just pulled out of the freezer when they need them.....my omelets was good, but let's face it no one really likes brown eggs (meaning it was cooked too long and their using to high of heat to cook them
This time the waitress was prompt and polite. She was pleasant and didn't spend time jawing with the other help. The food was quickly cooked and brought to the table while still hot. Eggs were cooked perfectly and burgers were done.
The food is alright, but shrinkflation is obvious. Had a burger and fries and the number of fries I was given was laughable. Staff were friendly.

The customer service is outstanding! I’m honestly amazed that they remembered my name and order from the previous week. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and down-to-earth, which creates a comfortable and homey atmosphere. With their excellent and prompt service, you can be sure you’ll be well taken care of.
Our waitress, Julie, was outstanding! She was very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. She regularly checked on us, making sure we were well taken care of. She’s a true asset to the team. She definitely deserves a raise!
Excellent value for the price! The food is fresh and delicious, and their pancakes are fantastic. The staff is very friendly as well. I ordered the meat lovers skillet and was thoroughly satisfied. I also tried the Breakfast Sampler, which is really impressive. It includes a small portion of ham and cheese scramble, two strips of delicious bacon, one tasty sausage link, and two of their outstanding pancakes. It's the perfect amount of food to kick-start a workday.
This time, we stopped by to grab a pie. The display case was full and ready for us to choose from... Marionberry!!! Breakfast is great at any time, but pie is always a good option! Tonight, we only picked up a pie—who am I kidding, it was just A PIE!!!! Lemon meringue was the choice, and the breakfast plate we had from our last visit was delicious.
