Actually we couldn't compare with other bakeries in Grenoble, but I can testify that they were crispy, big and tasty enough! Get them before 9:00 or they'll all be sold. We ate them in a beautiful café shop on the other side of the street: Cafés Raymond. The friendly dealer has made our day!

And the cake (after having tasted several) is exceptional. The puff pastry is perfect and the frangipane is generous and melting. I absolutely don't understand the previous opinion. Of course it’s a little expensive but that’s the price of success and quality. You can place your order on the telephone answering machine for the next day. After 9 a.m., and this demonstrates their success, there are almost no pastries left.
