The restaurant has in fact 2 areas o... read more Once again on my own in a town I don't know I asked the taxi driver where to eat, he suggested this place, good suggestion. The restaurant has in fact 2 areas one more informal with high tables in the front where you can have an aperitif with some anti pasti, and one more formal area where the tables are nicely presented and the service is very professional. The food was lovely, especially the grilled vegetables with melted cheese and the local wine suggested by the maitre'd, all was for a very reasonable price so well worth it.

Raw beef with parmesan had melt-in-the-mouth wafer-thin slices of the freshest beef, vitello tonnato was one of the best we have had (including in some of Milan's finest restaurants) and the rabbit braised with herbs and olives was incredibly flavoursome. This is a great people-watching spot if the weather is clement enough for the terrace, right on the main street of often-bustling Salice Terme.
