Mistys Diner

Description

Misty's Diner, once a beloved institution known for its great food and incredible vibe, has recently received mixed reviews. While some diners found the food to be overpriced and lacking in taste, others praised it for being the best American food they've had in Australia. The decor and atmosphere, complete with classic 50's and 60's music and a jukebox at every booth, added to the nostalgic American diner experience. However, complaints about cleanliness, unfriendly staff, and a foreign object found in food left some customers disappointed. Despite the mixed reviews, Misty's Diner may still be worth a try for those looking for a true American diner experience in Australia.

I recently tried the basic cheeseburger for $11.90, which is the most affordable option on the menu. The burgers are visually appealing and delicious, but I thought they were a bit pricey. Most burgers cost $25, and that doesn't even include fries - you have to pay an extra $3 for sauce. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. It's definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant serves delicious food with an authentic American style and decor, featuring license plates and vinyl records decorating the diner. Each booth has a jukebox playing classic 50's and 60's music, creating a nostalgic vibe. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including chili dogs and corn dogs.

Having visited the USA in 2017, I can confidently say that Misty's Diner is a fantastic example of the finest American Diner cuisine. The service is excellent on nearly every visit, and the food quality exceeds expectations for a Diner establishment.

My husband and I went to Misty's Diner expecting a good American burger experience, but I left the place really disappointed. To start with staff wasn't friendly nor kind. Not even tap water they served without us asking. Then, food itself was greasy and not tasty at all. The place was dirty - empty tables and floor filthy. To make matters worse, female toilet was also in a bad condition. A place to never come back.
