What sej p likes about Donovans:
Went here with my family. We all got a slab of meat and the quality was top. We also loved the bread so we asked for more and more. There were a few famous actors dinning the same time as us. View all feedback.

What Estevan Kautzer doesn't like about Donovans:
I would never pay to go here but a free bee is a free bee. At $150 a head for ten , it doesn't stack up when a tee bone steak is nearly fifty bucks and last time so overly salted. Throw in another twelve...dollars for a salad and it isnt cheap nor does it have the wow factor which you would expect. I simply just do not get it with food that our party found to be average. From the moment when you enter this divinely exquisite restaurant, you are a treated as you royal character. it is something very special. the food was delicious and presented as a piece of art. they pay for what they get and this is an experience they will never forget. love every moment of this beautiful restaurants.

Must admit, one of the few and the last of the really beautiful restaurants in melbourne, eating is amazing and the service is exceptional. they have visited this place for over 10 years and never disappointed.

Service was good and a very nice location. but the prices were astronomical for eating that they actually got what, while ok, was quite basic and unimaginative by melbourne standards. it doesn't matter to pay much, but it must be the price. my recommendation. go to stokehouse next door! Food: 3/5 service: 5/5 atmosphere: 4/5 .more

Fantastic eating and service. always a great location for every celebration. to my favorites include the slower chef lamm and duck. and the bom alaska to finish the night.
