Description

Teru Cafe and Pizza seems to have disappointed many diners with their lack of available pizza during lunch hours. Some customers found the souvlaki and milkshake specials to be underwhelming, with one reviewer even noting that the almond milkshake was too strange to enjoy. Despite the mixed reviews on the food, the ambiance of the restaurant received praise for its ability to cater to large groups. While some customers had positive experiences with friendly staff and good service, others were put off by unpleasant odors and basic menu options. Overall, Teru Cafe and Pizza seems to be a hit or miss dining spot, with some customers enjoying the simple, fast service and others finding it lacking in various aspects.

I decided to visit this bright and cozy café before exploring the Glebe market. I managed to get a seat outside, which was perfect on such a beautiful summer day. I ordered the Teru breakfast, and I was really impressed by the delicious, protein-packed meal—it was exactly what I was looking for. The spicy scrambled eggs and fresh avocado were particularly delightful. My chai latte was tasty as well, and the service was outstanding. I definitely recommend this place to other visitors in Glebe.

Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff, some of whom appeared to be backpackers working part-time, but they were very personable and helpful. The menu offered a good variety of options. When we ordered two plates of fish and chips for the kids, the staff wisely suggested that we share one plate between them, as the portion was quite large. We appreciated this tip, as it saved us money and reduced food waste. For ourselves, we ordered a Haloumi burger since we only eat vegetarian and seafood when dining out. The burger was delicious and came with a variety of fillings in addition to the Haloumi cheese. We also had a salmon salad, which was good, but we would have preferred a different option since the portion sizes weren't particularly generous. Overall, the prices were reasonable compared to other cafes in the area, and we were very pleased with our experience.

This is a fantastic little spot for breakfast or a quick lunch snack. The coffee is outstanding. The owner is a young Italian guy with a passion for great food. They used to open in the evenings but don’t anymore—if you keep encouraging him, he might consider it again! Be sure to try the big eggs breakfast.

The all you can eat pizza is an great deal. But the gourmet pizza selection is quite original and tasty. Must try, we come here in groups often so we can sample all the flavors.
