The cafe has a lovely decor with various seating options such as an outdoor terrace, a patio, and indoor tables. The restaurant also had beautiful floral arrangements. The food was fresh and delicious, with a Mediterranean influence showcasing tasty options from various countries. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The s... read more I personally enjoy Ahgora more as a cafe than a restaurant. The food I have tried has always been delicious and varied based on the chef's daily specials. The service is excellent, with friendly and polite staff, and the food is always served promptly. When I lived in Sydney, this was my favorite spot to visit. I particularly enjoyed meeting the regular dog-walkers who would sit in the outdoor area with their pets while having a coffee or getting some work done.

The entre was duly presented in timely fashion but the mains basically arrived in waves with long delays in between. The last...lot was after some intervention from our part. Clearly this destroyed the social side of the meal. The restaurant wasn't even full. The other problem was non availability of octopus. This was advised well after the order was taken. Considering that it is a small lunch menu this is something that should be advised up front to say the least. Yes there were apologies for the stuff-up of the main courses, claiming the waitress had thought we wanted to share them also. The second bottle of wine was on the house to make ammends. Considering the mark-up on wine this was the least one could expect. Food was OK but I wouldn't say it was good value for money. Won't be going back for a (long) while.

I started with Kingfish entree which was light and delicate followed by duck and a pear walnut salad. That duck was absolutely...delicious: I don't know how to describe it: just go there and try it! The Italian Waiter just topped off the night with his passion for and knowledge of food. Highly recommended.
