Really nice restaurant located on Glebe Point Road. We visited here for lunch and they were really quiet (we were the only ones here for a while but was not concerned as many good reviews for this place). The lone waiter here was extremely friendly and hospitable. He was flexible in getting some of the meals delivered quicker as couple of the party had to leave early and also slow down towards dessert as we were slightly full. He made sure we were looked after and recommended trying the Banquet Menu (mezze, three mains, red cabbage, potatoes, dessert) for $45 which is pretty good value. The mezze, sides, and dessert are set but you have a choice of the mains to share. The mezze was a nice way to start with nice warm pita bread and dips. We went with Charred Octopus, Slow Roasted Lamb, and the waiter's recommendation of Haloumi Ravioli. There is nothing hideously distasteful with Ahgora but the restaurant is one of the those which makes me wonder why I have dished out $50-$60 for a meal which You and I can easily cook at home. I tried the recommended ravioli and red cabbage salad. They taste exactly like what my grandmother will prepare during Easter - minus her love and passion.
