The value for money on Boxing Day was unfortunately not up to par: We had the Christmas menu here for €80 or €60 per person. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing for the price. • Food: The prawns were good, but the main courses were lacking (duck too dry, fillet overcooked). The amuse-bouche and the side salad were very basic. • Service: Uncoordinated. There were no clear lines of responsibility, drink orders were taken late, while we were practically rushed with our food. • Ambiance: The restrooms were a mess (overflowing bins, piles of paper on the sink), which shouldn't happen at this price point. It's a shame; we had hoped for better quality and more attentive service on the holiday.
We ate there for the first time last night. But it will also be our last! Apparently, there were problems with the heating, so my wife and children had to eat wearing scarves and jackets because it was incredibly cold in the restaurant! The food also took far too long. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and didn't eat until 8:30 p.m., and only because I asked if we could get anything else to eat. My steak tasted okay, but we also ordered two burgers. One was well-done, and the other was completely raw inside. When I asked about it, I was told that they always serve burgers medium. It's strange that the other burger was cooked well-done. Conclusion: We will not be going back!
Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. We used to come here more often because they had gluten-free options. Now it was a disaster. First, they delivered gluten-containing fries with the burger, then an ice-cold baked potato. The burger was also cold, and the minced meat on the burger was still raw and red. Sadly, the food definitely wasn't gluten-free. And I felt very sick very quickly. It's a real shame; it used to be highly recommended.
