The ice cream we had there was really nice and we also took with us some little cookies which was delicious.

Stopped in for refreshments while strolling through this wonderful medieval village. Ordered the Grantia di Mandorla was NOT disappointed. An attractive little corner of the square, we st... read more We visited Gerace In Jan 2017 and took shelter from the rain in Bar Cattedrale naturally next to the Cathedral. An attractive little corner of the square, we stopped for coffe, tea and the owner very kindly brought us some local sweets to try which were lovely. It is a classic Italian bar also serving alcohol and some very interesting looking cakes. A lovely stop.

One of the staff spoke a little english so communication and ordering was no problem. The food was excellent and everything was local ingredients. A perfect place for breakfast, lunch, coffee or gelato.

Only place open on a beautiful winter’s day in fabulous Gerace at lunchtime. Overpriced and poor quality generic antipasto. Would have been adequate panini but stale and attempted to overcharge relative to menu. Water in plastic cups. Coffee was good. May be better in tourist season.
