I don't put 5 stars just because the first dishes were all particular and with ingredients that I didn't eat so I had to give up and take directly the second, I wanted to eat a pasta with pork ragù or something more homemade and common, in the end I think that at least one simpler would fit in the menu. My husband took the first to say that he was good, but without particular claims. the desserts instead super excellent! We'll be back
We went to the restaurant as part of a tour group. The food was terrific, the atmosphere genuinely friendly. It is an extended multi-generation business with everyone pitching in. Do youself a favour-GO!
The restaurant is very friendly about the employees and how the looking inside. We had a touristic lunch with a group; calabrese antipasti (typical appetizers) that were really good in preparation, in looking and in taste. Local cheese, omelette, ham, local olives, dried tomatoes in oil, beans chard, chickpeas. Then by second course: mixed grilled meat with some roasted potatoes. I think was one of my best lunch outdoor. And the chef that was coming to meet us was really a very nice and friendly person.
If you want a great steak and like meat try the florentine steak with French fries. The best I have had around Siderno. The hillside restaurant is located on the west side access road to Gerace.
This place was a find. The food was very good we had the antipasto Della casa and then filetto. The service was also great, and the atmosphere was festive and local, it seems like a place locals would go for a special night out with family, but is not too fancy. We will definitely go back. The desserts looked amazing but we were stuffed.
