La Cantina Del Barone - GERACE

We came across this restaurant/enoteca when we went down to the dom and it seemed the perfect place in the shadow for a light lunch. the menu included so-called terrines of kicherbsen and red beans that we both had. more like simple dishes with a mix of ingredients and delicious. we also had a glass lumare pinkto that was very good. total cost with water and cover euro. friendly service and beautiful location.

For me this place is the best restaurant in the city. eating is carefully prepared and the cook describes every dish so that they can meet their choice. it has nothing to do with other restaurants. pastas are really good and the sauce. is a lot of tastier and refined as what you can find elsewhere. they cook good and fresh products as they are connected to a local farm. they will eat enough and the tellers are beautifully presented. prices are more or less the same as in other restaurants in the city. the choice of the wee is greater, as they have a cellar. the service is simply perfect. the location on the terrace next to the cathedrale also. I'm sure I'm going back!

Gerace is a beautiful city. very few tourist make this place very special in beautiful calabria. not many restaurants around, but this charming wine bar called la cantina del barone was a beautiful surprise. good food, good prices and excellent weine in a quiet place....Very friendly service.
