I was there for just dinner. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and the dining experience all together was excellent.

The location is very pretty. Plenty of seating in the balcony to enjoy being out looking at the scenery. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and put a little damper on my stay here. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 5

I have not been fortunate enough, yet, to stay at Grey Havens Inn, but still I had a wonderful experience with innkeeper Ali. A dear friend of mind visited a few weeks ago, with her husband, to celebrate her birthday. I wanted to have a flower arrangement delivered to their room, to be there when they arrived, and so I called the inn. Ali was so friendly and welcoming of the idea, and gave me some ideas for area florists, of which there are not many around there! She also said that if I ran into any problems, I should call back. I was not able to make arrangements for delivery for various reasons, so, indeed, I called Ali back. She immediately promised to handle it all herself—to purchase the flowers, arrange them in a vase, and put the arrangement in my friend’s room. We briefly discussed budget, style, size, etc. (I might add that she mentioned that there was a wedding going on at the inn that weekend, which seemed to be no deterrent at all to her assistance with my request! Both my friend and Ali sent me a picture of the gorgeous bouquet. Truly what added to the beauty was how friendly, helpful and kind Ali was and is!

We had the most relaxing vacation this August. I looked for a remote inn so we could get away and have some peace and quiet and this inn was perfect. I could watch the sea from the porch for hours, and we did (see the photo with the flag). We even caught sight of several bald eagles. We caught up on reading and just communicating with each other, and took day trips all around the area including on a lighthouse tour and visiting the nearby world class botanical gardens. The location can not be beat, and the hosts were wonderful. Take a step back in time (it feels like the 1920s-1940s) and have a lovely trip! Five Islands down the road has the best lobster! We felt like we had the whole beach at Reid State Park to ourselves! If you can't tell, we loved it. We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary.
