Was Daniel V at The Osprey a mag?
We had a wonderful experience at The Osprey. Our server was exceptionally attentive, providing the best service we've had in a long time. My wife has Celiac disease, and she felt very well taken care of, as each dish was presented with clear labels like “Celiac safe.” The food was absolutely delicious, especially the nutty popcorn, gluten-free fries, and swordfish! What Miriam E dislikes about The Osprey:
At the conclusion of a birthday dinner for my father, during which we had ordered appetizers, multiple bottles of wine, entrees, and more, the owner/chef approached our table to chastise my family for the fact that he could hear my nearly 3-year-old child throughout our visit. It’s worth noting that my child didn’t cry at all; he was simply being a little boy, and the restaurant was small enough that sounds carried.... View all feedback.

What a fantastic discovery! The beautiful views, inviting ambiance, and incredible food left a lasting impression. I can't wait to return! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I dined here for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a top rating of 5. The atmosphere was delightful, making for an enjoyable dining environment, which is another 5! I highly recommend trying the Caesar Salad; it was exceptional! Overall, the meal cost around $20 to $30 per person, and it was definitely worth it.
Absolutely amazing experience! First time on the island, and happened upon the Osprey under the draw of food and friends. The co-owner, the staff, the food, the atmosphere... everything was truly incredible and we cannot wait to come back. Makes you feel like a local, despite only just now finding this gem! I love this place!! The atmosphere is unstuffy, the service is warm, and the food and wine are truly excellent. In my opinion, it's an excellent value for what you get. The last meal I had there was almost identical to a recent meal I'd had at a much fancier place in Mystic, CT (The Oyster Club), but the bill was nearly half as much! Very much worth a visit. Food: 5
