Maison Hobo - Genève

At 16 francs per liter of water, and 20 francs per Spritz, we would be entitled to expect a certain standing claimed by the concept of this pseudo-trendy box. Well no! It's quite simply a scam, window dressing. The sushi doesn't come close to a fast food like Mikado so I don't even dare compare it with a Kakinuma or a Nagomi. When it comes to service, you are the joker. After consuming, the hastily trained and inadequate staff comes to explain to you that if you stop consuming, you must leave the premises. Downright scandalous and dishonest. I am surprised by so many (too) positive and certainly “interested” opinions. I haven't found anything worth it.

Very bad experience at Maison Hobo. The service leaves something to be desired for a bill of 1000€, the place is really overrated. We reserve a table for 12 people and are given a table for eight people. The manager is on another planet and has a lot of difficulty understanding us and managing his customers' complaints. We all ate standing up. We go to the Lounge after dinner to continue the evening (12 people) and after a while the manager asks us to get up to leave our second table to other customers, knowing that we have taken a bottle. We find ourselves once again squeezed into a table for 4 people!!! We found a compromise with the other customers without any apologies from the Maison Hobo team. A poorly frequented place and very expensive for what it is. Extremely disappointed with the first and last experience with them.

By far one of the best (if not the best) black cod I ever had. The quality of the food is at top notch and at the same level of the best fusion restaurants in the world.

Night spot to spend a very nice evening. Very good music and atmosphere, you can dance there, very good Japanese cuisine. The less good side, very expensive drinks, service a little too urgent, we came for a birthday and no way to have a candle on my dessert woman, I am told that you have to take a bottle for that.!seeks to make you consume as much as possible. A little stressful.
