We went to the Osteria over the week end for an overnight and a dinner. It is a beautiful institution and the food was outstanding. The food was refined, tasty... read more We went to the Osteria over the week end for an overnight and a dinner. It is a beautiful institution and the food was outstanding. The food was refined, tasty and plentiful. Superb menu to choose from. The service was delicate and full of attention. We directly felt at ease: it is both elegant and informal an ideal combination with a well understood Italian flair. We felt like in Italy. The dinner rooms are full of charm, and the Italian wine collection is great plus you can choose your wine directly from the shelves! An idea: taking two half bottles to compare two regions at the same time. The garden is very calming and there are many details that remind of the Italian savoir vivre, it was perfect for an apéro (and will be great for al fresco dining in summer months). The hotel rooms are also pretty and the bathroom is to a luxurious modern standard (kudos to the shampoo products). The breakfast is also delicious. We will come back with pleasure.

The menu is not too large which means really freshly prepared meals from high quality ingredients. On the contrary the drinks list is wonderfully extensive with great Italian wine choices. The caponata and the saffron risotto were absolute standouts. The osteria also has a really great atmosphere so a perfect venue for special events.
