The service, food, and allergy accommodations were incredible and everyone was so happy with their food. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Thank you to Pietro and all of the wonderful staff at Villa Verone who helped make our rehearsal dinner so special!

On 10/7/2023 we went to Villa Verone for my Nana's Birthday. I had not eaten all day so I was very hungry, the service was slow -although our server was personable to give him credit. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognaise, I knew the first bite I took that something was wrong, the pasta was not al dente, but more importantly the meat consistency was off. I imagine this is what cat food must taste like. The sauce was flavorless, might as well have been a jar of great value marinara. I would have sent it back except for our server took 10 minutes to check on us and I was starving so I covered it with parmesan and choked down about half of it before I gave up. It was a disappointing experience and I knew I would never go back, but this was only the beginning. When I went to sleep around 10AM I didn't feel so great, but at 3AM I ran to the bathroom and violently threw up that disgusting excuse for Rigatoni Bolognaise. Now, 2 days later I can finally sit up right and my body feels like it was in a car wreck. I'm going to call management after I post this review and inform them of what they did to me, but I want to make sure the public is aware. Villa Verone gave me food poisoning, they served me expired meat I wouldn't feed my own dog. This shows Villa Verones complete lack of integrity. I rarely write reviews, but the past 2 days of my life have been hell so I felt it necessary to go full Karen on this careless establishment, be warned!

I don't know which personal prejudice was the issue for our server, but she clearly disliked us from the moment we were seated in her section. It could have been racism, homophobia, or just not wanting to deal with a table who ordered dishes from the less expensive section of the menu. Very difficult to say. She practically threw our meals on the table, and literally stormed off afterwards. Never checked on the quality of the food. Never offered to get us a second round of drinks. There are lots of fabulous restaurants in Geneva that offer great food and actually treat you well.
