Was Luke at Barrel Rye a mag?
We like to try chicken wings. I heard from a friend that this place had great chicken wings. They did not disappoint, the wet buffalo and bbq chick wings were 10/10, perfectly cooked, perfect seasoning and very meaty. Dry rub varieties needs more seasoning but were very good 8/10. What Matt I dislikes about Barrel Rye:
The food was outstanding! However, we noticed that the bartender used a lower-quality bourbon (Travellers) in our cocktails instead of the bourbon that was advertised on the menu (Heaven Hill 7 yr). They didn’t inform us about the substitution or offer any discount. Just a heads-up: be cautious about what might actually be going into your cocktail! View all feedback.
Cocktails are always good..unique and made well! Our waitress was very friendly, I feel bad I forget her name. I think the appetizers are splendid. Got the Southern Chicken sandwich and no skimping for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

02 Sep 2024: Same great place and same great food service. Would recommend it to everyone. Original Review (Sept 2023): Great for small plates or dessert. They have great bourbon flights. Very well established place, and would recommend it highly. Located on 1st floor. Easy to get to. Always a great selection of food and spirits.
