We came during lunch and the place was empty. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right on time. The ambiance was sort of late 19th century but very cool and unique. The service was good and the food was tasty too. I’d return again when in the area for lunch or dinner. Thank you. View all feedback.
What chuck dislikes about Atwater’s:
Our party of four went on Dec. 30 trying to miss the New Years eve rush and celebrate with family. I figured we would have a better experience better service, hot food, etc. Well, I was mistaken. Atwater's only had one waitress working the dining room. Odd for a holiday week. We had a nice time. we had 1:00 reservation. there is a big room and there was only one server and all tabs were full. we waited an hour to drink. a bottle of wine. and after a bit informed us our server that the kitchen was closed in 2 minutes. we ordered and the food was great. we sat and enjoyed our afternoon, but the service was not great. I met with a friend whom I had not seen since one was there and chose the restaurant because we wanted to be able to sit and talk and enjoy each other.
The server was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic, and the eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection.
Had an amazing night with my partner, our server was learning and did an excellent job with taking care of us. We came in at a busy time and stayed past closing, we got a bottle of wine and the service was great! Menu wasn’t super large, but offeredenough that we found something to fit us. Recommend if you are downtown and want a quiet place to dive into! Corvanna was ourwaitress and she was very kind, will be back and hopefully get her again!
Great dining experience. They have amazing customer service with a huge selection of gluten free options. We'll definitely be back.
