While some guests rave about the spectacular slow-cooked rib of beef, delicious pies, and friendly service, others lament subpar meals—particularly during festive occasions. The atmosphere, described as warm and inviting by many, occasionally suffers from less desirable seating arrangements and cleanliness issues. Nonetheless, the accommodating staff strive to enhance the dining experience, providing attentive service and a welcoming vibe. With dog-friendly options and a promising cocktail selection, this venue has potential, yet consistency seems to be the key challenge for future visits.
I go to The Hutt ever Saturday, had a lovely rump steak and Strawberry Sunday, kids had burgers and chips. Staff are lovely and food consistently good. They are always busy at weekends so booking advisable.
Lovely building, staff and food. Service was so quick! We booked for 5:15pm via the website, we arrived at 5 and were seated early. Was so impressed with the minimal time between courses and it was a pleasure to be seen to so quickly, staff were really on the ball. Sharing starter was our favourite part of the meal, that salt and pepper squid was lovely! pictures: Sharing starter platter Lamb cutlets (weekly special) Mandarin cake with raspberry sorbet(weekly special) Apple and blackberry crumble Will be going back for sure, price is on the higher-midrange, but certainly worth it. update We went again, and it was just as great as last time
