read moreAmazonas is a hidden gem in Aylmer, offering delicious Peruvian cuisine in a simple yet charming setting. While service quality can vary, the food is praised for being fresh and flavorful. The owner's grumpy demeanor may detract from the overall dining experience, but the meals themselves receive high marks. With generous portion sizes and a warm atmosphere, Amazonas is a great spot for those looking for authentic Peruvian dishes in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Don't be deterred by the unassuming location - this restaurant delivers on taste and quality, making it a must-visit for those seeking a unique culinary experience.
