Contribute FeedbackLa Papaye Verte, located in Ottawa across from the Museum of Civilization, offers interesting Thai cuisine with small portions. Despite slow service and outdated decor, the food is correct. The restaurant struggles with short-staffing during busy events but delivers good food. The Thai pad is particularly delicious. It may be a little pricey, but for the Ottawa region, it is a very good Thai restaurant with tantalizing dishes and customizable heat levels. The service can be slow, but the servers are kind and respectful. Overall, La Papaye Verte is an excellent choice for Thai food in Ottawa, especially for its savory dishes and creative non-alcoholic drinks.
Service was quick and the food was good and hot. The place is charming. Not as spicy as implied in the menu, good for a quick business meal. Appropriately priced.
Not very tasteful, waiters don't seem to care much or pay attention. Would not return, too expensive for quality...
We had dinner June at Green Papaya/ Papaye verte. Every dish we had was very tasty, fresh and delicious. We had the green coconut curry, crispy beef and the stir fry. Great food and atmosphere.
I was at Papaye Verte with a friend of mine. We both ordered the Pad Thai. The plate was a good portion, but not too much. It was rather sweet, but still had a lot of taste. The décor is very nice, and the staff...pleasant. Parking is available for customers.
This is an authentic Thai resto with decor, staff to match. Nothing fancy and it’s old looking but had lots of character. The food is excellent. Prices are fair. Lots of Asian patrons on a Tuesday evening indicates this is authentic and good. Service is...a little slow but I didn’t care because I wasn’t in a hurry. Highly recommended b
