Maison Fumee BBQ - Gatineau

We drove around Gatineau for an hour looking for a evening meal. Ended up at at the Maison Fume BBQ Smokehouse. Was delighted the owner spoke fluent English and was very welcoming. We both had the ribs and they were well beyond our expectations as the owner said "not too bad for two Italians guys from Quebec " and I agree whole heartedly. Tender yet meaty with a great selection of BBQ sauces. And yummy sides. A great selection!

This restaurant is situated with an entertainment place. The food is good, the service is good. The pizza used to be very good but it seems to have decline lately. The faitas are very good.

If you like spicy, ask for their habanero hot sauce, it's homemade and great flavor. Out of all their homemade sauces that the best one I enjoyed!

Try this place for the first time, the ambiance is nice, kind of rustic but what to expect on a BBQ place. Service was amazing, really fast, our waitress was really nice and really customer oriented. Food was good, can actually taste the smoke in the BBQ chicken wrap i had. Overall it was a really nice evening diner.

This restaurant offers a great selection of smokehouse foods. The home made frech fries were delicious and the wraps were fresh and stuffed full of tasty meats and veggies. The owner was super friendly with us and was very sociable. The restaurant offers a good variety of beer too. Thanks for a great visit!
