Les Brasseurs du Temps - Gatineau

This place is amazing. The terrace is beautiful that I have seen. The place has museum and you can explore. The beers are amazing. Service exceptional. I wasn't very happy with wings and Colesaw chicken castles. The cheesecake was good.

For me the best craft brewery in Canada (what I tasted). Everything was good and delicious. I like this place.

We enjoyed our experience very much. We started with a Mojito and a beer flight. I love it! Then on the apps. Fantastic. Pizza, flank steak and melon and duck. Delicious!!! Closed the evening with a strawberry and a blueberry dessert. Amazing. Great place to eat or drink!

We visited Les Brasseurs du Temps several times, so this review is a little summarizing. Eating is usually good and tasty, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere alive. You have a very nice and large terrace and a quite phenomenal beer museum path that leads you near the brewery pit. It's something to visit, and if you haven't visited yet, you should make the way down to beer history trail. We had only a very disappointing experience with an appetizer several months back (fried calamari . It was a $17 starter (not cheap that you will see on the picture. It was rubbery, basically completely tasteless and came cold, although deep fried. The green sauce based on seaweed was also not so good. We have alerted our waiter who acknowledged that the court looked good and went ahead with a substitute order of Fried Hot Peppers (see picture that was much better. We weren't charged for the Calamari. I noticed that others run through the same disappointment that drove negative reviews. Moreover, they seem to no longer offer this court so kudo 's to manage to make the necessary adjustment to the menu! The rest of our dinner was good overall. During this place 't deserves a five star excellent review, it is still a pleasant restaurant to visit if you want a bite and a beer with friends. You also have a good selection of microbrauerei beers, which is beautiful. We're going back!

Service and atmosphere were great!! Waitress was really friendly and fast ensuring we always had what we needed and checked up often. Very helpful with beer menu and took time to explain beers and also asked what we typically like so she could refer us to something similar they make. We ordered the chicken wings for appy and the fried chicken burger (1 chicken, 1 beyond the meat) for our mains. Wings were good and arrived within 6 mins of ordering which was fantastic and we had 7 wings for our 1 pound order so they were larger which we loved. Buffalo sauce had a medium/low heat but nonetheless still good (we love spicey). If I had to critique the wings, I would suggest making them a but more crispy. Burgers arrived about 8 mins after our appetizer was done (again top notch on service) however we both noticed a burnt smell coming from both our meals. We discovered the buns had been char broiled on their grill (perhaps a tad to long) which was what was making the burnt smell. Portion size was very good, and flavors were ok. We found the burger lacking a punch, something to make us say wow but overall had no complaints. Overall great place, friendly staff and good selection of drinks/food and will visit again.
