I love my Pho. This is officially my new favorite spot. The owner and staff were great, food even better. Just the right mix of ingredients. Highly recommended. Niko View all feedback.
What Dariana Pacocha doesn't like about Ile Pho Bistro Vietnamien:
at the opening of this restaurant I listed it on tripadvisor. My bleed at the time was that food was cold. This disadvantage was resolved, but another was substituted: it took more than 40 minutes to get served a soup while there were only two or three people in the restaurant. it seems that priority is given to the phone calls. The soups were succulent and well garnished View all feedback.
I myself, my wife and my daughter love to come here. we've been going since, and it's getting better and better. it was a little rough, service took time, taste was inconsistent and they had not even debited for one because, but they have really turned that into a top notch restaurant that they experience in the aylmer area. the menu is great, the prices are amazing, especially in consideration of the quality they receive, the service is fast and accurate. the employees always remember us and make a point to say hello while we are there. the pho is seriously some of the best they get in the region, it rivals what they find on summerset. everything is clean and well presented. I really can't say enough great things. my only complain is that the spits are always a little brown and not very fresh and the tables always lack essential as spoons, chopsticks and sauces; we have to go table to store. these are smaller annoyances for such a big place. go there and eat them!
Small restaurant. very good food. Good service. good choice of meals. A lot of people come and get their food to get out.
We decided to go out for supper and thought, why not see what we can discover in Aylmer? Our daughter googled "Restaurants in Aylmer" and came upon "Ile Pho." The pictures were mouth-watering and we thought, "OK, why not.?" Not expecting much since we usually frequent Ottawa's Chinatown for Asian food, we perused the menu and I must say the prices are incredible. We each chose something different. We each chose a Rice paper roll appetizer; for our main course, Hubby chose the Pad Thai, our daughter had Pho w/Pork and shrimp, I chose the Spicy Thai Soup w/coconut milk, lemongrass, ginger and chose 1/2 chicken and 1/2 shrimp $(1 extra.) We did have to wait for our mains, but were told that's because each is made to order. When they arrived, the portions were generous and fragrant. We then sampled each other's mains -- O. M. G! Absolute heaven! We may never cross over to Chinatown for Pho again! We met the owner Ray - very friendly, very approachable, as was the staff. He asked us for honest critiques and he got them.Translated "Ile Pho" means "Pho Island" but phonetically it means "You Must." so if you are prepared to wait a bit for a made-to-order main and have a great meal that won't break the bank, YOU MUST try Ile Pho!
The delay to receive our meal was quite long considering the few people in the restaurant and I wasn't able to eat more than 2 bites of my chicken pad thai. It was mushy and the flavours were very off. Doubtful that I will return although I wish I had tried the soup instead! Service is very mediocre and must ask multiple times for things. Server never even asked why my plate was still completely full.
Pleasant staff..Great for takeout. The soups are very good. Have been three times now, and overall enjoyable.
