Edgar is truly a gem. Located in Hull, this cozy little restaurant offers delicious food. Their breakfasts are probably my favorite. The Dutch baby is to die for. But with the recent pandemic and limitations,… See more View all feedback.
What Joshua doesn't like about Edgar:
Great service. The baked goods were tasty, and the hot drinks were OK. We had the Rhum ham and the classic dutch baby. The dutch baby pastry was good, but definitely did not enjoy how the meat was cooked, nor the apple sauce it was soaked in. The ham was nothing special, but the scalloped potatoes that came with it were well done! View all feedback.

Yesterday I travelled with my family from Montreal looked forward to trying your food at the recommendation of a very good friend. I always try to remain objective especially with the understanding that the last 2+ years have been difficult. However, covid, lack of staff, etc. should no longer be at the forefront of your excuse resulting in a lack of customer service and by extention customer satisfaction.Even though the food was good but over priced, I still would have left happy if it was not for 5 pieces of bone that I bit into after ordering your rib sandwich. Luckily I did not break a tooth!!! Unfortunately, my daughter also received the wrong order so out of courtesy we waited until she received her shrimp sandwich before starting to eat.If customer satisfaction was at the forefront of your establishment, the least you could have done was not charge me for my plate or even a $5 pelegrino I ordered. Offering my girls desert (a cookie) would have even been a great gesture.

Cute little cafe with some pretty unique dishes. I ordered an iced London and the Mexican breakfast. The London fog was delicious. It wasn’t too sweet and had a lot of flavour to it. The Mexican breakfast was also good, but didn’t leave me wanting more. Also it was the only option I had because the menu did not have any other gluten free options which was unfortunate. Overall a good experience but I suggest adding more gluten free options and maybe expanding the space because it was very tight.
