Chez Gaston Shawarma - Gatineau

Great food and great service. Gaston is a great guy! Love the spicy garlic. Always get extra on my potatoes!

Chez Gaston looks like pretty much any other takeout Shawarma restaurant. Nondescript decor in a little strip mall but as soon as you walk through the door you're greeted by a friendly smile and a chance to taste what may be the best garlic sauce on planet earth (he makes his own - you don't need to worry about vampires on the days you drop in).The rest of the food is tasty too. We usually will get the chicken shawarma platter (chicken, rice, potatoes, hummus, garlic sauce ad a fresh green salad) or the beef donair platter (same as above but beef) - the services are generous and the prices modest. If you're in the mood for a wrap the small is enough to satisfy most appetites, my wife and i will split a large for lunch.....

This is one of the best Shawarma I have ever had and I have had lots. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful I would recommend this to all my fiends and family

This place is amazing. The staff is really friendly and polite, they wrap their shawarma the proper way and grill them to perfection, and their garlic sauce is bang on. It's perfect. And they have spicy garlic and happily pile it on when you ask for lots. The price is really good and there's a lovely ambiance to the place. Very clean as well. My favourite shawarma place in the city, hungover or not.

Their garlic sauce is not extraordinary, but for the rest it is perfect (the potatoes are the best. )
