Sonic Drive-In - Gardner
Sonic Drive-In
Description
Once a reliable local stop, this Sonic now delivers hit-or-miss fast food: hot but sometimes greasy fries, mayo‑soaked or lukewarm burgers, and rising prices that rival sit-down restaurants. Operational issues — broken drive‑in stalls and windows, spotty drive‑thru audio/visuals, unreliable gift cards and change — complicate visits. Service varies from slow and forgetful to genuinely warm, and treats like the Flurry still impress. Bring patience; attentive staff can salvage an otherwise inconsistent experience.

Sonic can be inconsistent, and more often than not, it's a disappointment. I stopped by for a side of fries to munch on. They were served hot but excessively greasy. It seems like the fryer might have been overused, which likely caused the oil to be at the wrong temperature when the fries were cooked.
Ordered a Super Sonic Double Cheeseburger and asked them to replace ketchup with mustard. What’d they do they just put ketchup and mustard on a single patty with no other toppings and it’s not even warm..simply requested you to remove the ketchup and add mustard instead. ? spent over $7 for that not even close! But hey Happy Holidays lol
I had a problem with the drive-thru as there were no visuals, and I could hardly hear the person taking my order. Aside from that, I really love this place! As for parking, some of the windows are not functioning and should be clearly marked.
Overall, it's a great place, but they always forget to include the marinara sauce with the mozzarella sticks.
They were slow burger had way too much mayo on it bun was soaked with garlic butter, flurry was good. Went to pay with a $100.00 bill couldn't break it yet they were busy ? ? don't understand that what they don't keep change on hand. NOT A HAPPY PERSON if I didn't have another way to pay what they think gonna do dishes I dont think so.
