Description

A recent visit to a local restaurant revealed a stark contrast between service and food quality. While some patrons reported delicious meals, particularly praising the hush puppies and funnel cake fries, others encountered significant service delays and unkempt facilities. Instances of inattentive staff and lengthy waits for simple orders raised concerns about management and cleanliness. Despite these setbacks, the spacious venue and accessible facilities were appreciated. Overall, while the culinary offerings show promise, improvements in service and maintenance are essential for a more consistently positive experience. Dining here may delight the palate, but be prepared for potential hiccups.

The lady at the counter barely looked up from her phone, did not smile once and tisked at me when I came back to the counter and interrupted her from her phone again for a few condiments. The bathrooms, both, were extremely dirty. Drink area was a mess. Note, we were the only customers at the time.

I walked in to find the door wide open and no one inside. I was relieved that I wasn't a robber! As I was leaving, the manager came in with what I assume was her boyfriend. She mentioned that they were getting a late start, which isn’t a great sign for the owner of this establishment. This happened on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:45 AM.

Great place! You place your order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. The hush puppies are delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: It's a spacious venue with designated handicapped parking and a ramp outside.

I came in for a job interview, and the woman at the cash register asked me to sit down, assuring me they would be with me shortly. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes before I decided to order a milkshake, which took a full hour to arrive. During my wait, I noticed the two cooks in the back repeatedly glancing at me and giggling; whenever I made eye contact, they would look away. I even tried calling, but my calls were repeatedly hung up on. I do not recommend dining here or seeking employment—you'll likely find yourself sitting at a table for an hour without any interview taking place.
