Chef Tim O'Sullivan continually dazzles with his outstanding cuisine, establishing himself as one of the West of Ireland's best-kept culinary secrets.

The food at Rusheenduff is outstanding, perfect for formal gatherings. During our visit, the service was a bit uneven. Next time, I might opt to sit at the bar, where the food is likely just as delicious but the atmosphere more laid-back. The bar and country house hotel were charming, with a lovely ambiance highlighted by beautiful harp music on the evening we were there. Overall, the experience was elegant and very soothing.

The food was delightful and perfect for formal occasions. However, the service was somewhat inconsistent during our visit. Next time, I’d opt for the bar—it shares the same kitchen, which I trust maintains the quality, but offers a more relaxed atmosphere. Both the bar and the country house hotel were charming, creating a wonderful ambiance enhanced by the beautiful harp music on the evening we attended. Elegant yet casual.

The service at Rusheenduff is outstanding. Chef Tim and his team present a remarkable menu that showcases local cuisine. I strongly recommend the Connemara Rack of Lamb for dinner and the Cleggan plaice for breakfast!
