Great Bar ,always a great buzz here ! Staff are so helpful and friendly .Seamus is a gem , such a lovely man . It's getting refurbished at the moment ,still doing great business I'm sure it will look fantastic when it's finished . We had a great weekend here , no other pub got a look in View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Quays:
Bar staff on the upstairs bar in the music hall seemed to not be serving people, just stacking glasses and wiping the area behind the bar down. Stood for minutes waiting to be served without even being acknowledged. It became quite clear we weren't going to be able to get any more drinks that night so we left and went on somewhere else where we were served by people who appeared to appreciate our custom. We loved it here! The atmosphere and the live music are exactly what you need for a Galway visit. We spent both nights of our holiday coming here for the live music and we weren’t disappointed. Get the Irish coffee, as it’s definitely a work of art!
Klimatyczne. Pub of restaurant. The quality of the level, but not the highest. The meetings for beer and meetings with friends.
Loved the music. Memory I’ll never forget. The band was incredible. Amazing.
Nice pub and always a good spot. Food is OK. Unfortunately not full marks as despite spending the evening eating and drinking, if you want to go upstairs (Paid area) they expect you leave and queue on the street. This seems unfair and a total disregard to the custom you've been giving that evening. Those inside the main bar spending money should be prioritised to gain paid entry as opposed to being directed back out on the street.
Didn't have food here, but stayed for a few drinks. At atmosphere was great and bar service excellent, very friendly staff. There was live music, that was very good and that was Saturday early evening. The Quays really has something for everyone.
