Not happy with service no smiles and seemed to look down upon us ! I also asked for some sugar and the barmaid seemed annoyed with me asking for it It's a pub NOT a restaurant

This is a pub trying to change the drinking laws in the uk!!! and where staff are unable to identify when someone is clearly old enough to legally drink alcohol. They managed to totally ruin our Sunday dining experience by not only refusing to serve a 25 yr old (with copy of passport on phone) but then serving remaining drinks very slowly, failing to ask if we were happy with food, asking whether we’d like further drinks…just a generally poor level of customer service and an uncomfortable experience from the outset. Food was OK, staff rude and unapologetic, but ready to take our money. Never Again.

Just had the most lovely meal at the eagle this afternoon…. The food was delicious and the service was great … food came quickly and no waiting.

Absolutely fantastic establishment! Booked in here for an impromptu evening meal. We were not disappointed. Fantastic service throughout, extremely polite and friendly staff. It’s not often you fall upon one of these hidden gems. we all know the price of food is astronomical across the board so when we decide to eat out, we expect to pay more. We just hope that what we are paying for is something a little bit “extra”. The food at the eagle is beyond reproach. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used and twin that with the excellence of the chef and you have the perfect meal out. Easy to find, fantastic parking, immaculate restrooms and beautiful well thought out interior. I honestly cannot fault this place and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
