Contribute Feedback What Brando Wyman likes about The Monk Craft Brewery & Kitchen:
The Monk has recently changed its licence from restaurant to tavern and in my opinion the atmosphere is much more relaxed and welcoming. They brew on the premises and produce some outstanding beers, my particular favourite is the IPA a flavoursome beer with a level of bitterness that lets you know very quickly what you are drinking and at 6% is definitely not a session beer. If you like Real Ale the Monk is the place... View all feedback.
What Brando Bechtelar doesn't like about The Monk Craft Brewery & Kitchen:
The space in this place is amazing, to bad we were there during winter and had to sit outside.
There was no heater lamps which is very odd. Please do something about that.
We had almost everything in the menu, food was honestly average nothing was good not bad. Just nothing you would come back for.
I like the mulled wine but like I said there was no heater lamp so we got to warm ourself up somewhat with drinks ???? View all feedback.
The staff were on point; attentive and ready to serve. The meal was tasty, well platter and prepared.
Well, this place is pretty pricey, but it is certainly worth it. Basically it is a craft beer bar located in the heart of Fremantle, but not only does it serve craft beer, it serves craft beer that is brewed on the premises. Okay, probably the term brewery is better than bar, but still, this place is pretty cool, and the beers are certainly quite good. The other thing is that the service was also good, though it did feel to be more focused on being a restaurant. However, it was a great place to sit down for a beer, even if the beer was a little more expensive than normal.
Expensive and not everyone likes boutique beer when going out with a crowd.
Lamb ribs ???? IPA is OK too, not hazy unfortunately but quite nice ????????????
My wife and I travelled from Geraldton to Fremantle to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary staying at the beautiful Esplanade Hotel. After checking the 3 Hotel eateries we walked Fremantle and settled on dinner at The Monk Brewery Kitchen. BEST choice for the beginning to our memorable weekend. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was Devine and Monk’s in house Lager was the best compliment to my meal. I must make special mention to our Hostess Jemina. From the moment we entered off the street she was very welcoming. The other staff were also very nice making us feel welcome but Jemina seemed to go that little bit extra to make our evening special. From My wife and I “THANK YOU!” You gave our Anniversary weekend the best start.
