We ordered so much food from this place and although we've been here once before (years ago) a lot has changed. Last visit, i loved the baked beans this time i didn't enjoy them at all. The mac n cheese was actually better this time and the potato salad was very bland and just okay. The fried fish was extremely salty! Too salty to enjoy. The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoy their variety of wings, mac and cheese, corn bread, and 2 meat combo. Every dish is expertly prepared and seasoned to perfection.
The collard greens were overly salty and lacked any real flavor. I would suggest skipping them, especially if you are familiar with Southern greens. The mac and cheese was dry and the pasta was overcooked, resulting in a semi-mushy consistency. The ribs were also lacking in flavor. I would not recommend this place for anything resembling BBQ. Save yourself the disappointment and expense.
The portion of chicken was extremely small for $39. It was one small quarter piece.
Food is delicious!!! They never disappoint!!!
This restaurant is Black-owned and serves incredible food. The dishes are full of flavor, generously portioned, and made with love.
