Nice Italian food. I live in the hotel for my business travel to Fredericton and enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The location is great next to St John River. View all feedback.
What WhiteFeather H doesn't like about Red Rover Craft Cider:
We sat for over an HOUR waiting for our food while tables around us, with guests who'd arrived a half hour after us, were served their mains. We sat there with empty drink glasses and growling stomachs. Not impressed. The potato skins appetizer was ok, but when my main dish finally did arrive, it was lukewarm at best, and the squash was under-cooked. Honestly, I can't say that I would go back ever again. I used to be a big supporter of Isaac's Way when I lived in Fredericton 10 years ago, because I like their fundraiser initiatives and community support, but it's just not enough to make me want to go back again to pay for a meal that is subpar.
OMG! Fabulous food. Cod was best ever ! , forever shaming future cod jnto the niche of boring fish it often is. The ribs were unbelievable. The accompanying sides were phenomenal.
I really love this restaurant, which is deceptively large in the inside. From the decor to the food to the service, everything was top notch. The decor is a little quirky but homey. You are greeted by a giant sculpture of a chef in mid swing with his frying pan. The walls are decorated with plenty of art pieces to admire. We had the fried clams with fries and there seafood linguine. Both were made very well with great flavor but the comfort level of the pasta was the winner. Absolutely packed with seafood and it was sooooo good. One of the top meals we had during this trip!
Bounced back from a tragic fire in 2012 to again serve their customers with freshly home cooked recipe from scratch. Issac's way now location in old historic york county court house is totally amazing. You can enjoy their delicious home cooked food while sitting on their deck and get mesmerized by the view of saint john river from your table. Order: Pulled chicken club house: Served on a kaiser bun and filled with roasted chicken, maple and bacon jam, lettuce and mayo seems heavy on stomach but believe me, it is not. Enjoy your burger with your favorite side dish. Court House burger: Local valley beef, smoked cheddar, spicy aioli makes this burger drool-worthy. Fish cakes with lemon dill sauce: East coast of canada is quite famous for fishcakes too. This house recipe is totally worth to try here. Red pepper chicken penne: Served with focaccia bread, relish the oven roasted chicken with a creamy red pepper sauce.
