Food at Hu Hot is a great deal for the price, and is it incredibly convenient. Much rather go the Mongolian Grill on campus. First the food was cold, with raw food touching everything this is a serious heath risk. Lovely food. Good deal if you stay awhile. However when i took my boyfriend for his first time, because we ordered the create your own cuisine ALONG with two appetizers (egg rolls and wontons) we were told we could not have any to go boxes unless we paid an additional $6.99! That 's just outrageous to me. We weren 't trying to hoard food and take a ton of it home! It was our FIRST PLATE along with some eggrolls that we had already paid $60 for. We had to leave and and paid MORE MONEY just to take home our leftovers. Unacceptable to me. They should simply not allow several trips followed by to go boxes or at least give out boxes for the appetizers. Or actually just not charge for to go boxes at all! Im sure people dont attempt to steal tons of food and take it home and it shows the customer an unpleasant intolerance for those that cannot finish their meal. Still really delicious food and they have ice cream so 4 stars cause I look at the positives but expect to be treated like a thief if you cant finish the food you ordered.

There are many booths and some tables. It's a great place for groups of people, and there is accommodating tables for larger groups.
We loved the food and had a great time. The price is good and the staff is great.Kid-friendliness: Fun for the kids
Great food for the price, pretty simple selection. I recommend splitting proteins from carbs as it will cook better that way and 2 bowls fits a plate well. Was not busy during the week.
It was a very nice time just wish the people that worked there were a little more friendly.
