Many found the atmosphere lacking, with a sense of claustrophobia and emptiness, but appreciated the friendly staff. The food was hit or miss, with some enjoying the pinto-o bacon appetizer while others found it disappointing. However, the bar staff was highly praised for their expertise and the impressive selection of drinks available. Overall, William Oliver's seems like a good spot for whiskey enthusiasts and those looking for a unique pub experience.
Her Jackfruit was quite delicious, and her Cajun chips were super spicy and crispy. A good option for bar food!
Great food and service. I can't wait to go back again! Look forward to having a drink next time as well!
The restaurant has a great variety of alcoholic drinks and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. I just really wish they had a cheeseburger on the menu.
Sometimes you know you need a place that will be open late. Meeting up with a friend and I knew we would chat for some time. Excellent selection of beers on draft and quite the cocktail menu. My husband enjoys whiskey and they have an epic selection. As predicted our conversation ranged and roamed quite late. Luckily their hours accommodated that activity. The bartenders are knowledgeable and added some fun to our chat.
Arrived in Fort Collins on a Thursday around 9 and when trying to find a place to eat was told all kitchens close with the exception of William Oliver's whose kitchen is open to midnight. We quickly hopped in our car and took the drive over. We were very happy we did. Service at William Oliver's was excellent. We were instantly seated (amazingly the place was not crowded, nor was it noisy from the few people present) and quickly provided with menus and requests for drink orders. I had a great Irish Red. The menu had multiple choices, and I went with a bowl of the chili. It was excellent. If I lived in the Fort Collins area, I would definitely return here without hesitation. I'm just sad I live elsewhere and will never get another opportunity to explore the other offerings on the menu!
