Taverna House Bistro - Forres

Very nice. Nice young lady served us . We had the tempura prawns ,and goat cheese salad for starters. Then it was steak pie and beef with mushrooms, croquettes and veg. Both were delicious. Will return

Nice place. Very good atmosphere plus fabulous food.

The restaurant is excellent without being overly fancy. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is impeccable. The only critique I have is the use of slates for serving; that's more of a personal preference, though! I can definitely recommend Taverna House.

The food was incredible! I tried the Highland chicken, some calamari, garlic bread, and cheesecake, and it was all delicious. Unfortunately, I don’t live nearby, which is a pity because now I’m eager to sample everything else on the menu! I’m definitely saving this place for my next vacation. Don’t let the simple-looking menu fool you like it did me at first; everything else is beautifully presented and clearly made with a lot of care!
