Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a hotel! I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip, and the hotel is very cozy, with nice, clean, and comfortable rooms. The owners go above and beyond for their guests. The food is to die for, both for breakfast and dinner. Absolutely terrible attitude from the receptionist/manager right from the start, i phoned up to book a room, she starts raising her voice at me for no reason, acts like im a person with disabilities, then puts the phone down and starts speaking bad about me to someone in the background View all feedback.
We booked 2 rooms with the lovely Shanti on our travels around Scotland. She has a beautiful B&B located in the lovely village in Forres. With large very well appointed bedrooms plus a bar room and breakfast room. She was the perfect hostess and the breakfast provided was second to none. You will not be disappointed. Six of us had dinner in the restaurant, the food was excellent, best we have had for a long time. Staff were great, the chef in particular was a real character and made it a night to remember.
This hotel is truly beautiful and charming. When I stopped by to drop off my luggage, they kindly allowed me to check in early, even though it was before the official check-in time. The hostess was incredibly friendly and attentive. He explained everything in a way that I, who don't speak English well, could easily understand. My room was lovely, and I had a wonderful night's sleep on the comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding; it's a myth that British food isn’t tasty—it might even be better than what you find in high-end restaurants. I feel fortunate to have stayed here and would definitely love to return. Regarding the food and drinks: you can choose whatever you like for breakfast, but I recommend trying a little bit of everything!
